WHAT I MISS THE MOST ABOUT CHINA IS .........

...... MY FAMILY
I have a very large extended family in China, 3 aunts, 3 uncles, 7 cousins, and all of them lives in the same city, and everyone is extremely close to each other. Canada is great in many ways, but it can not replace the happiness family brings.

During my time in my home town, YingKou (营口), I was able to experience a completely different lifestyle, a family oriented lifestyle. In the morning I would meet up with one of my cousins to go shopping, when we are done, my uncle would come and pick us up to go to my grandpas'. After a day of work,
my other cousins and aunts would already be there waiting for us. Everyone would watch tv, cook and eat dinner together. This does not only happen on special occasions, its normal, its everyday. If my 2nd aunt says she is going to cook 炸茄盒 (deep dried eggplant stuffed with meat, its everyone's favourite!) everyone would head to her house for dinner, no invitation required, and later we would all play mahjong and poker until is late.

Now that I have left them, I really miss the time we had together, hopefully I would go back again very soon..... if I can survive the long plane rides... lol.

My stay in China lasted a week, 7 days later I once again got on a plane as I make my way to Hong Kong.
