.....FOR YOU TO GET MOSQUITO REPELLENTS AND AN EMPTY STOMACH
When I lived in China before the age of ten, mosquitoes was an big part of my daily life, I planed my day around it, and did as much as I could to avoid it. I, unfortunately, am not the type of person who have a great deal of self control, I usually scratch until
it hurts, and Chinese mosquitoes are especially powerful, if I ever got bitten I would usually end up having a large part of my body aching and purple. That's why I do not go out of the house after it gets dark, if I do, I would wear long sleeves regardless of the temperature.
I am not suggesting that this will happen to everyone, through out my life, I have learned that I attract more mosquitoes then other people, which is a great misfortune.
One thing I miss the most about China is its street foods. It may not be the cleanest or the fanciest place to grab a bit, it is, however, the Chinesest thing to do. We have a saying in Chinese "入乡随俗" which means "once to arrive at a place, you have to do things the local's way," besides, how else are you going to fully experience China? The following out be my suggestions for street foods:
| 手抓饼 |
| 手抓饼& bubble tea |
| 煎饼果子 |
| the market |
| 烤冷面 |
| 煎饼果子 |
copy and taste the names and google it!
They may all look weird and unappealing right now, but one thing about traveling is that you have to experience new things, local things, and satisfy all of your senses, especially your taste buds!
