[PART 2] M is for Montreal

the fun continues!!! yeah!!!

here are some more pictures I took on the streets of old Montreal

I feel like such a tourist when I try to take a picture with everything that has word Montreal on it. even though Toronto has Bank of Montreal too... but  I bet its not in french! lol..

the guy behind me totally ruined the picture! heng! old Montreal really have a strong European feel, very similar to the street of Riga, Latvia which is about the most European place there is! walking down the streets you would come across a strong smell of cigarette smoke once in a while, which is a little annoying! but I envision the 1920s when people used the old pipes to smoke ( that was the 1920 right???? I did not not check of historically correctness) a little romantic.... but I suggest to experience it only once in a long while... 2nd hand smoke is totally not worth it!

I am still glad Toronto banned public smoking! yeah! lol

in Montreal
in Niagara
here are some more pictures I took in the shop I really loved! apparently I really love animal hats... I guess it's because I will never wear it outside.. so i will enjoy them in doors lol
ai... cam whoring. I love big mirrors <3
some weird stuffed animals.. it kind of remind of a iphone game called jelly defense! check it out if you want la ~
some more photos while we rest... I noticed that my hair is getting really long..... gonna cut it as soon as I get a job!!!! hopefully it happens soon !

some more pictures of McGill i failed to upload last time... >.< like I said before they have really nice and historical buildings, so in general I had  a very good impression of the university, but this monday, when I was talking to my friend who had a group case interview and one of the girl from McGill did not act ethically... that kind of lost from points for the school... i guess I really need to think about my behaviour when i am representing my school in a public event or something...

bf was in a BNP finance competition, so he got all excited when he saw the building.. we also saw google's Montreal office..

we were walking around and I was naturally attracted malls...it's actually called center Eaton.. which is "Eaton center" even when I go to Montreal I have to go the same mall I go to in Toronto..... but this one is not as nice as the Toronto one.. but MUCHHH bigger!  so we were walking around the mall when we came across the XBOX 360 experience room.. they do not sell anything.. only for you to try out their games.. I really wanted to go play but its all children and their parents... no one close to my age was in there.... sigh... so I did not...

but it makes a great play time for children! its free and you get to play with the newest games! awesome... I wish it existed when I was a kid... >.< now I am in old T.T

bf hates mall... but he does make an effort to go with me when ever I want to... so when we go .. we spends a lot of the time in electronic stores to keep him happy... and I end up not buying very much >.< but it's the though that counts~

we were in the sony store in the picture.. love their awesome camera and TVs.. bf was criticizing their tablet when I took their picture.... saying how it does not have a very good grip

testing out their face detecting technology.. it's really pretty awesome, much better than the ones I have seen in the market

for dinner! we went to Reuben's Restaurant Deli, I am not gonna bother with the address and things.. just copy their name and google it.. their are pretty well k now

I was told that they have the best cheese cake... I am not a big cake or cheese cake fan my self... for those who know me well knows that I hate sweet stuff.. (I know... omg.. that is just wrong, but I just do not like them >.<) but I have the say they do have the BEST BEST BEST cheese cake ever!!!!

the price its about $20 per person, we only order one main course (because its huge!!!) so we can order side orders and still have room for their cheese cake.
have to say.. the service was a little slow...but it was during dinner rush... so I do not blame them.. and the service was really good despite the slowness... here is me patiently waiting for food
we ordered half a chicken and half a rack of ribs with sides, the plate was huge I could not even fit it in one picture so I took too <3 the ribs was really nice, fall off of the bone, the chicken was good but nothing special.. but! the gravy was truly awesome!

we also order a soup which bf dug into before I had a chance to take a good picture of it.. but it was soup... so you are not miss out on much

here is the cheese cake I promised! it is really large, about the size of two regular cake slice you get at other places... the cake was not too creamy (some times cheese cake can be soo creamy that two bit is more than enough) , it was light, not overly sweet, with a crispy nut crust that gave it a crunch!  the strawberries was a nice refreshment that contracted nicely with the creaminess of the cake ! my mouth is water and I am craving for the cheese cake right now!

o! the cake is $7 per slice! a must order! just do a take out if you do not have time to sit for dinner

the gym! I was actually considering working out a bit since I had nothing to do... but guess who end up too lazy and watched tv instead.. >.<

more to come.. stay tuned.
