If yo love this OOTD, I will be posting one every weekend, so stay tuned for next week's <3
The weekend is the only time for me to step out of my business clothes and dress up Sunny style!
I got it last week from RW & CO. I have always thought RW& CO's clothes wasn't really my style, but I went in to find some formal wear for work, and I found this really cute blazer that I can wear as a blazer or as a cute outer wear. It was $128 +tax.
When I put my outfit together, I like to choose one piece of clothing that I want to wear, and pick out the other pieces with that one piece of clothing in mind so that everything works together and complements each other.
The first item I picked out to match my blazer is an over-sized, knee long wool skirt shorts , aka skorts. I wanted to go for a classy and girly look, and this skorts is perfect! The skorts has a narrow waistline and fans out at the bottom to look like a skirt. The texture and colour also matches my blazer, and it is warm enough to battle the cold Canadian fall/winter.
I pair the skorts with my knee high boots that I got from Nine West. The black colour makes my legs look thinner and longer, and the high heel elongates my legs, also making it look proportionally skinnier~ a knee length skorts/skirt can be difficult to pull off because it can make you look fat >.< but, by accentuating the legs, you will look skinny overall, and let the people know that it's just an oversize skorts <3
The large striped scarf adds a pop of white to the otherwise grey outfit, and I am also carrying my white Coach bag to match the colour of the scarf.
Let me know in the comment section if you liked it! and I will be back next Saturday with another OOTD <3
