SURPRISE birthday party !!!

This is from a little while ago... I have been waiting to get my hands on the awesome group pics that I know I look soooo awesome in! but it still have not be uploaded... so I have given up on waiting... 

Dec 16th is my friend lucy's birthday, not only is it great to celebrate one of my best friend's birthday~ it's doubly great cause I finally get to see some of my favourite people in the world <3  (you know who you are... KX KC CS NW MC LZ) omg all the secret initials felt like high school yearbook all over again.

The birthday party was a surprise party organized by Lucy's bf.. (ahhhhh... that's sooooo sweet) lol... but seriously it is really sweet! and we had a great dinner at the Big Daddy restaurant in downtown Toronto. The dinner was great because of the great people and all the great discussion aka gossips... the food on the other hand was terrible... never felt more ripped off in my life... you will see later in the post.

Slutty? hair~

As I have previously mentioned, in the mist of my uncontrollable winter break shopping spray... I bought a wig online..... though it promised 2-8 business day delivery.... it actually took them about 12 business days.... but 

o well.... I have been anxiously checking my mail box every single day for the past 2 weeks and it finally arrived!!!! I was so excited... 

I think the picture says more than enough for what the wig looks like~ it looks very pretty, though it's a bit of a stretch from my real hair.... so it does take some getting use to.....

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! let this be a warning to all of my friends... please do not give me a "gasp" look if you accidentally see me wearing it on the street !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize that I would not be able to keep up with blogging like I did during break... and I will make no more promises to pick up the frequency.... life is just a lot busier with school, cleaning up my room (which believe it or not is a huge thing for me cause I hate cleaning!) and living on my own..... and not that bf is back and I have a lot more things to occupy my time with <3.

i bugged my bf quite a bit during the holidays to get awesome things for me on taobao.... a chinese version of ebay but with wayyyy awesome stuff!!!! everything is just sooo cute!! and beautiful! you know how people complain about things online are crap??? well.... that's because they have not shopped on taobao!!! it's beautiful and cheap!

I have already started to use most of the things bf bought for me and loving every single one of them! but there is this scarf that is just tooo beautiful! (i have noticed that I have used the word "beautiful" quite a bit... I apologize for my lack of vocabulary...) 

 the colour is just so vibrant! and the scarf if really long so you can style it any way you want! I always feel like winter is the season with no colour... every thing looks

"here is something to talk about "

I realize that I have abandon this blog for a little while... a lot of minor adjustments to get use to... and a lot of reality to kick in... but hopefully I am back to blogging... cause I find that whenever I blog I would always find something happy to write about, it make me appreciate and realize that life is wonderful... how cliche'...

Just a quick update on my previous entry.. the one with all my complains about text book... well... it did not end up too badly... I sold one more book... and returned a book cause I plan to live off of the one copy in library reserve... and the cases did not completely kill me.... so I actually only incurred about $150 in expenses with all the book selling~ panic averted!

now for something to cheer up my day a little.. I cut my bang a little while ago.. and it was not working out so great... it would not go to the side and did not look so good.... but it learned to behave itself ever since it came to Kingston! so I am happy : ) yep! all it takes it look hair day to make a girl happy XD

 

 I believe I was reading a text book when I took the photo.. I do not know why I look so sad... cause I remember enjoying read the text~ must be all the note taking >.<

what's a Canadian Winter without some crazy freezing rain.. terrible road condition and gusty winds.......just a average day here in Kingston~ but seriously... Kingston has been hit with some really wild! crazy! and insane weather these past few days! I woke up yesterday to freezing rain! the side walk had both ice and rain (making it crazy slippery) kingston has terribly in-leveled roads... some parts of the road is completely submerged in water >.< but it was quite beautiful! my facebook was bombarded with photos yesterday~ here are some I took!   

New hobby? addiction?

I have recently become addicted to couponing, and if you can bear with me until the end, I will show you some of the saving I got from couponing.. I saved like 43%!!!

The story goes something like this, I was watch "Kourtney and Kim take new york" ... I admit, I love the Kardashians... in episode five Khole tells Kourtney that she was watching "extreme couponing" and Kourtney got hooked on couponing for a bit...

later that night I youtubed the show "extreme couponing" and it is just amazing... people are laterally paying pennies to nothing for hundreds and thousand dollars worth of grocery items!

p.s. saving money = cool... couponing= saving money ... therefore couponing= cool

but I do feel a bit like a grandma thinking this way, but let's face it, a university student is not one of the most profitable occupations out there. >.<

so I spend the next day looking through the internet for coupons, and I end up signing up for a huge amount of coupons that will arrive in my mail box in the next few weeks!! I admit, my saving will be nowhere close to the extreme couponers... but it's still great to save money.
